Here are the best ways to list recent articles in Joomla 6:
Method 1: Using the "Articles - Latest" Module (Recommended)
This is the standard module for showing the most recently published content.
- Go to the Administrator Panel and navigate to System > Site Modules.
- Click New and select Articles - Latest.
- In the Module Tab:
- Count: Set the number of articles to display (e.g., 5).
- Category: Select the category/categories to pull from, or leave blank for all categories.
- Ordering: Set to "Recently Published" or "Ordering".
- Configure Module Assignment to choose which pages display this module.
